Dieses englischsprachige Buch gilt heute als Grundlagenwerk der Verwandlungskunst. Urspünglich als 1:1 Übersetzung von Lex Schoppis erstem deutschen Buch geplant, kamen hier auch Gastautoren zu Wort. Auf Basis des ersten Buches gab es wesentliche Erweiterungen, so floss auch Lex Schoppis vergriffene „Synopsis der Verschlusstechniken“ mit in das Buch ein.

Das Buch erschien 2005 in Amerika (USA) und wurde weltweit vertrieben. Seit mittlerweile 4 Jahren hält sich „QUICK CHANGE“ konstant in den Top 100 der Buchcharts des Weltzaubergroßhandels und ist damit eines der erfolgreichsten englischsprachigen Zauberbücher deutschen Ursprungs. Das Buch wurde mehrfach aufgelegt, bekam weltweit positive Rezensionen und hat einen Ehrenplatz in der Bibliothek der „Academy of Magical Arts“ in Hollywood (Magic Castle).

In 7 Kapiteln werden Kostümwechsel- Methoden in Einzelsequenzen trainiert. Die einzelnen Techniken können danach miteinander kombiniert werden, so dass sich am Ende mehrere hundert Kombinationsmöglichkeiten für die unterschiedlichsten Kostümwechsel ergeben. 15 Hardcore Geheimnisse zu Verschlusstechniken werden dem ambitionierten Leser offenbart. Das Buch hat das Format 17 * 24 cm und einen Hardcover Einband mit Kapitalband. Der Inhalt ist s/w und hat 112 Seiten mit 119 Fotos und 48 Zeichnungen. Illustriert wurde es von Ali Bongo.

INHALT

In the new english book „Quick Change“ 15 different methods of fastening are described, the so-called „Top Secret High Tech“ hardcores. There are:

the hook and eye fastener
the standard press studs/poppers fastener,
the double press stud/poppers fastener,
the hook and loop fastener,
the magnet fastener,
the simplest pull fastener,
the pull with eyelets fastener,
the tunnel pull fastener,
the double pull fastener,
the fish bone pull fastener,
the crochet fastener,
the tunnel crochet fastener,
the incredible speed spring seam,
the elastic speed thread and finally
the „non plus ultra“: the prepared zipper.

The user is trained in 22 sequences to accomplish costume changes. The combination of individual sequences results in very fast complete costume changes. In theory there are several hundred combination possibilities for Quick Change methods. Finally a multiple costume change with six costumes from preparation and through the handling is presented with a series of 48 photos.
